Music is something that should be enjoyed by all ages. You are never to old to pick up an instrument. At DSC we foster students’ love of music while deepening their appreciation of this art form.

We also offer private lesson on music theory, composition and song writing.

Samuel Tolley graduated from Plymouth State University with degrees in musical theatre and music education. Samuel has over ten years of experience teaching music. After seven years in South Korea Samuel returned to the U.S.A to spread his love of music back home.

Ever since high school Samuel has had a love of learning instruments. He pretty much learned any instrument he could get his hands on. He’s grateful to have received his degree in music education which taught him to play a variety of different instruments.

Samuel wants to share his passion for instruments with you!

Meet your instructor

Lesson Format Options

We offer both virtual and in-person lessons to meet your needs and schedule.

Virtual lessons are conducted entirely online, allowing students to learn from the comfort of their own home.
In-person lessons are available the studios we rent in Portsmouth and Rochester.
We also offer the option for the instructor to travel to the student’s home for private, in-person instruction.

Monthly Lesson Packages
Lessons can be booked individually or as part of a monthly package.
Sign up for a 4-lesson monthly package and receive $40 off your total lesson fees.

All four lessons must be completed within the same month.
