DownStage Centre’s Winter Guard is an Independent World Class team that brings color, movement, and excitement to local parades, special events, and competitions throughout the year.

Open to adults of all skill levels, this group is a great opportunity for those who loved color guard in high school or college to continue developing their skills, stay active, and perform as part of a fun, supportive community.

Our winter guard fills a unique and important niche in our local circuit. While there are many programs for performers under 22 and elite-level independent teams for highly advanced adults, there’s almost nothing in between. We created this group to give adults with intermediate skills a place to continue growing, performing, and being part of the winter guard community.

Without teams like ours, many adults lose access to the activity they love once they age out of youth programs.

Every dollar helps us build a strong foundation for our program and gives our performers the chance to shine. Thank you for supporting our journey!
